Default Power Antennae on C5

Last week I had zo6 shocks installed on my 2000 vert. The car has only 12,400 miles on it. Even since, I am have problems with the antennae. It goes up perfectly but won't close all the way. I have cleaned it and sprayed dw 40 on it and also tried a silicone grease but it still won't close all the way.

Could something have been done when the GM tech was putting on the rear shocks?

Thank you

I just did shocks and sways. Didn't get near the power antenna. Rear shocks are almost childsplay. Fronts are a lil more exciting as you have to compress them to install and remove with zip ties.

I did have to replace my antenna cable a couple of years ago. Broke off inside the motor.
About a 3 hour job including drilling out plastic rivets and relubing motor. If your mast works but is bent replace it with a mast from ANTENNAMASTSRUS.COM. Less than $20. GM says clean it with mineral spirits. Try that first and cycle it up and down to see if it corrects the problem.
