Last week I took my car to the track for the first time. Having never experienced wheel hop on the street before I was not expecting to encounter it at the strip but I did. Since I know wheel hop breaks things and can be caused from what I have searched tire slippage and gaining traction again in fractions of a second I decided to try kill it with a Pfadt trans mount ECS brace and hardened output shafts with some drag radials. My questions are I know at any power level people can break output shafts, since I am making 400rwhp with the brace and mount do I NEED 300m shafts or would I be alright with just c6Z06 shafts? Also are both sides necessary since I'm in there or is that unnecessary, is there anything else I would need aside from the shafts? On to tires I want a set of ET streets but I am curious about sizes I didn't purchase the wheels on the car now but I believe they are 10.5" out back should I stay with these or get a 17 and a larger sidewall tire? Also being in SW Oklahoma we have no one here who works with Corvettes any recommendations for say Dallas or that area aside from LG since they are the only ones I can think of off the top of my head. thanks for all the help I know I will receive here
