Default Power Steering Question

So first off I want to say this forum is great. Monday my car starting making a whining sound and it got a lot louder when I turned the wheel. I assumed it had something to do with the PS. I searched this forum and found out the common problem was low fluid. So I checked a sure enough it was really low. I topped it off and the noise when away except when I turn the wheel completely to one side. So at idle and most of the turn its quiet, but when I turn the wheel the last inch or two the noise comes back. Any ideas on how to get rid of it?

Thanks
Scott

Almost every car I've owned, the power steering pump noise will change, when the steering is against the stops......especially when the vehicle is stationary.
