The battery died on my 99 Coupe and when I replaced the battery, The dual zone climate A/C stays at 79 degrees and won't adjust. I cleared the codes when I changed the battery, but still have the same problem. Thanks in advance for your feedback.
I have never heard of this, but my first action would be to disconnect the battery again, wait a half hour or so and reconnect. This works on a lot of devices as it allows hidden computers to reboot.

I disconnected it a few times for about 2 minutes, it didn't help. 30 minutes is the time frame needed to clear issues?
Never saw this one on here either. Maybe , try checking and pulling the fuse 18 and 27 in the passanger foot area. I can't imangine it will help, but you never know if you don't try. Its the HVAC control fuses.Thats if the battery disconnect and wait doesn't help.
I'm having the same problem with my 99 also. The off button is not working either. Did you get any response??
I changed the left side switch by cutting a new one into the old piece that is mounted to the board. Didn't help. I wonder if the original soldered piece going into the board needs some help. It seems fine but maybe....
I can't believe with all the help on these boards, no one has come up with a fix.. I see repairs for this on e-bay.
I like to do my own repairs if possible.
