Exhaust Noise
Recently, I installed a Corsa Pace Car exhaust system with X pipe on my 2001 C5, LS1. The motor is completely stock except for a Vararam. Ever since the exhaust system has been installed, the car makes a loud popping noise from the exhaust when the car is down shifted, or is going down hill in a lower gear. Sort of like a big rig truck, only not nearly as loud. My wife hates this noise, so I'm wondering if there is anything I can do about it other than replace the exhaust system again.
