Default AC Problems

Over the winter i had a short and the battery went completly dead . I found the short and battery holding find now. Today it was hot so i turn the AC on the little light just blinks 3 or 4 times then goes off because of battery going dead by chance is there any thing that needs to be reset the AC worked great at end of last summer .

When the light blinks and turns off its usually low on freon.

That is what mine does and my front seal on my Compressor went bad. Check the pressure in the system, I bet its low. If it is put some dye in the AC system and charge it up and run the AC on high next time you drive. Then find the leak. Start with the front of the compressor. Seems to be a common issue from reading the forums.

As of right now, you don't know anything. Evaluate the static pressures, and go from there.
