Default New brake rotors question

Do I need to turn (true) new rotors or can I just take them out of the box and install them?

You should be able to install them directly as long as they are not junk rotors and meet the OEM's max TIR of .002". Some of the lower priced rotors do not and end up vibrating over time.

You dont have to turn them, but in case you are unaware, clean them off real well with brake clean brake cleaner. Rotors are usually shipped with a film of oil on them to prvent surface rust from forming while in transport.
