Hypertech problem, help!
My 99' C-5 coupe has most of the bolt-on mods including the Hypertech pp3 engine tuner. The car ran great till I decided to take out the Hypertech engine tuning and return back to stock engine tuning, using the hypertech custom fan settings only. Now the car is running at reduced engine power and the check engine light is on! This, and my big screen tv crapping out on me has made for a bad day. Help! :cry :cry :cry :cry

Try to reinstall the Hypertech and follow the exact instructions that they print. If you even as simply turn on a light or power something on while the process is taking place, it could crap out the load... Give it another wack and if it fails I would call Hypertech directly... :yesnod: Good Luck!

Same thing happened to me first time I tried to install my PP. Got the "reduced power" message and all sorts of weird things happening with my gauge lights..car was basically acting possessed. I couldn't figure out what to do so I just said "screw it" and reinstalled the program from the beginning. Second time worked like a charm, no problems, no codes, no runs, no drips, no errors! :DHope that helps!
