Well, its real simple. Remove the two bolts holding it on, disconnect the hose. Put in the new one and tighten down the two bolts. Reconnect the hose. Make sure the engine is cold of course. Put in enough coolant to the cold level.

The only trick is that there is a nut underneath it. I believe the tank has tab with a slot so you can just loosen the nut a few turns and pull the tank off the stud. Other than that, pull the hoses and 2 nuts you can see and replace it. Use a container of some sort between the engine and tank to catch the coolant as you pull one of the bottom hoses off.

Three fasteners, three hoses and one electrical connector.

Disconnect fasteners (nuts), lift upwards and roll tank over (leave hoses and cap on), disconnect electrical plug, disconnect one of the larger hoses and allow tank to drain, disconnect two remaining hoses. Reverse to install.

Tip: Do this on level ground and after reinstalling tank leave fasteners loose. Make any slight adjustment (using fastener with slotted hole underneath) to ensure the tank is level, then tighten nut underneath first, and remaining top two nuts last.

Might want to replace original hose clamps with worm clamps. Mine leaked after I replaced my tank. New clamps-no more leak. Just a thought.

The other trick is that early models have a coolant level sensor in the tank. Later models do not. Get the right replacement for your year model.
