O.k. my system went dry over the last 3 years of sitting. Master/ABS and all lines.
Installed C6Z06 brakes and bled all the lines. No leaks or anything and I get pressure when the car is off. When the car is on I can pump and get pressure after the 3rd or 4th pump. I have a Motive pressure bleeder and can get and hold 14psi bleeding the system and there is no air coming out of the lines at all. Pure fluid.
So I read about the ABS issue and got the car out on the streets and after pumping to get pressure I got 4 or 5 ABS stops out of it. Do I need to bleed again now that the ABS has been activated a couple of times?
I just get the pedal to the floor at this point. Also does the brake booster vacuum valve supposed to a have a check valve in it or does it allow two way air flow?

Yes you do. You might have to do a couple more cycles on the BPMV to get all the air. It will work.......
C6 Z06 calipers are much larger, they may require more brake fluid volume to fully actuate. If this is the case you will also need top replace the master cylinder with one that delivers more brake fluid per stroke.
i strongly recommend performing the ABS automated bleed with a tech-2. There is no way you will get all the air out of the ABS unit and solenoids with ABS stops.

Thats the only way to do it. The Auotenginuity scan tool will also do it. Thats what I have and I flush the abs when I flush my brake fluid. It will actuate all the control valves and the pump.
I have the Proline connector and enhanced GM and Ford. It is a pretty good tool. Unlike EFI you do not need a license for each VIN. But it won't do any tuning. It will do most things a TechII will do except reflash. And if you get a used TechII you won't have dealer access to reflash programs anyway. And they are VIN specific and expensive.
