I pulled the power off the secondary fan + wire--You can take if off either fan-ALSO--- many people bypass the radiator trans cooler--While you have to replumb you tranny lines anyway it makes it an easier install-Running it bypassed----This LOWERED my tranny temps about 10*
The radiator temps run up to 200-210* very quickly so you are trying to cool your trans with 200* water temps !!!! Not gonna happen-
I believe GM does this to actually WARM up the fluid in freezing or very cold areas--But if you use common sense in cold climates by letting the car warmup thoroughly before driving it is an easy way to add some trans cooling--
Thread hijack...im doing the same thing and will be bypassing the factory cooler...what are the fittings that connect to the radiator? Ive been looking all over and cant find em.
