Was a lot easier then I thought it would be. Used a blow dryer and bug and tar remover. Also used a scrapper from the kitchen for a non stick pan cleaner. Works great and speeds it up quickly.
I removed mine and got the royal shaft..........Passenger side is perfect, Drivers side door was painted at one time, for what i don't know but,
the BSM was never removed so now I got a paint halo / outline which will have to be addressed.
I actually prefer they way it looked before. I guess it's a question of personal preference. But man, I'm really glad I have them when see an idiot parking to close to my car in a parking lot.

my car was 10 years old when I did mine...it was a slow process, but there were no faded vs. unfaded areas. Just hit it with a buffer afterward and all will be fine. You may get some "dirt marks" around the edges from sand getting in there and sticking to the adhesive, but the buffer will remove them.
