Rear rotors
I had some pulsating and shuddering when the brakes were applied on my 99, so I tore down the brakes today and took the rotors in for turning. This C5 coupe has less than 30K. They refused to turn the rear rotors because they measured slightly less than 1".
Is this normal? The front rotors were fine and all the pads were about 50% worn. Why would the rear rotors be out of limits?

Did you buy the vette new? If you didn't, possibly they have been turned down already :yesnod: As far as a shop turning them, the specs have to meet a certain minimum guideline for it becomes a legal-technical-safety requirement IMHO...
