Harmonic Balancer Pulley replacement DIY help
I've searched with mixed results so I'm hoping I can get some help from other members on here...
I've read that the DIY on LS1 forums for removing the balancer pulley can/will actually damage the thread on the crank. I'm considering paying a buddy to use his garage to do some other work as well that I was originally planning on having done. Do I need a special tool for properly removing the HB pulley? Anyone have a DIY that will show me the proper way to do it?
While I'm doing that I'm planning to do my timing chain, oil pump and I'll install my new heads and new cam. From what I can tell the rest of the DIY that I have for the heads and cam swap are pretty straight forward and looks like I can do this. Any help is much appreciated.
