Relocate Horns Underneath Keep Getting Wet
2001 Corvette - my horns keeping getting wet and the sound gets weaker.
After a dry spell they will bounce back with the proper sound, though not as loud as some of the newer vettes.
There is a right side front bumper filler close out panel underneath the horns.
Is there something missing under there to protect the horns?
Should I try and relocate the horns somewhere else - passenger side?

I installed the ultra compact air horn in addition to the regular horns
on the right side and used a relay to trigger from the OEM horn wire

There should be a shroud under the horns to keep the water off them
I had to remove several screws and a shroud to get to the horns. Had one of them dead. Replaced it with a junk yard special and added an aooga horn, relay, and button to add to the sound. Never found the originals getting wet and I do drive in the rain.
