C5Z06 wheels on C5 Convertible

C5Z06 wheels on C5 Convertible
I had my newly purchased (thx County Corvette) Speedline Z06 wheels installed today. After much debate, I decided to go with Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 (265/40/17 and 295/35/18).
What a difference a tire can make! I also have newer (8/32 remaining) Michelin Pilot Sport EMT on my factory Y2K polish thin spokes. The differences to me.. are night and day. The PS2 ride smoother and are quiet on the road. Steering seems more responsive but that could be b/c I have wider tires now. I also noticed that 2nd gear shifts (auto) under hard throttle... the rear does not jump out with PS2. So far.. very impressed with PS2. I put 30 miles on my test run this morning... now my 2000 Vert has 20,140 miles..
So far, the family opinion is the Z06 wheels are too dark and they make the car look like a track/race car... I LIKE!!!
(I am thinking I may need to lower... just a little?)

Looks nice! I think the C5Z's look much better than the C6Z's 
If I were to change color, I would go chrome, but that's just me. I like the silver too better than black for sure. Lowered would look great as well!
