Default Horn changed tone - Am I nuts?

My horn has been acting up recently. Going off at random times and it blew the fuse. So I just replaced the pressure pad. It works now, but, I swear the tone had changed. It sound higher pitched and doesnt seem as loud. Am I going nuts or is there something else I should check?

Thanks!

Yeah, check the horns up front.
You can get to them from under the car or remove the passenger headlight assembly (2 bolts, 3 nuts) to go in from the top.

Did you have an argument with a curb or pull into a parking place and bottom out the lower radiator support recently? Hit one hard enough and it will damage/destroy one of the horns. It can also damage/destroy the steering wheel position sensor and set C1211 code. Do it hard enough and you're looking at $3,000 plus to repair it.

Thanks! I dont think any water got in there, but I'll take a look adn see which one is blown. Oh and apparently I'm tone deaf. My wife insists it sounds lower.
