Default Idler pulley

I have a slight chirping noise comming from under the hood. I figure it is probably time to replace the belt tensioner, idler pulley, and serpantine belt (45k). I normally like to upgrade stuff when replacing it, but am not sure on the idler pulley that such a thing exists. Since the idler pulleys are sealed and un-lubricatable (do you like that word?) I would like to try and find one that is plain better made (read: not prone to failing every 30-50k miles). my internet search only finds GM OEM, and O'Riley / Autozon replacments. anyone know where such a thing can be found?

No idea what they're like, but they have replaceable bearings.....

Recently replaced mine (63K miles) with replacements from Autozone. I like you, could not find a lot of difference between any unless you stepped up to a racing version. Swapped both in very easily and no more chirp - good luck

you say "both" do you mean both the idler pulley and the tensioner, or did you swap the A/C idler pulley as well? if so was it a different part number?

Autozone has nice units. I did the same last year and it cured my chirping.
