Default C5 automatic transmission question

Does anyone have a picture of this component actually bolted properly to their car or what the bracket looks like that holds it to the car?

This is right behind the rear diff.

Thank you

That's not your transmission, it's your ABS brake Module.

I know it wasnt the transmission, I was just stateing the car was an automatic since I didn't see this part on the manual transmission car I had in the garage.
Anyone have a picture where the bracket goes on this module so I can put it back where it belongs? Someone just had it wire tied to the rear sway bar.

Your car must be a 1997 or an early 1998 vette. It doesn't matter whether it was an automatic or manual transmission. It's about the production period.

I can get a couple pictures this afternoon after work to show the brackets. Something doesn't look right about the rear cradle. During the 1998 model year, just prior to production of cars with the Active Handling option, the Corvette's ABS brake hydraulic control unit was relocated to the front of the engine compartment to facilitate quicker Active Handling system "warm-up" and shorten front brake response time when the brake fluid is cold. In temperatures below 14oF, the Corvette's Driver Information Center (DIC) will display an "Active Handling Warming Up" message as soon as the vehicle reaches 6-mph. That's a caution to the driver that Active Handling is not fully-functional yet. As soon as the system warms up, another message "Active Handling Warmed Up" will be sent to the driver via the DIC

I agee.. here are some pictures of my 98 rear cradle. There is a indent where the brackets go, but drilling and mounting the brackets shouldn't cause any issues.. tied to the sway bar... that's so not right!
