When you do the H/C package, you will be fighting for traction with 99 percent of street tires..As for right now, I can tell you what I do..This worked for me in 45-90 degree weather...First, pick up a set of BFG's....These tires are very sticky..I drop the rear psi to between 22-26 depending on how cold or hot, avoid the water box, do a 5-7 second burnout on dry area before staging and fly...I run 1.8-1.9 60's all day with the 3:15 gear...
Hope this helps ya... :)
If you scroll above, look at my sig picture. That's was me launching at Cecil this weekend. I got to make a pass right after a 6 or 7 second car did so the track was super sticky. I just pulled up to the line, didn't powerbrake, and floored it on the 3rd yellow. I had NO spin at all with my BFG's, the car almost bogged. I wish I had a converter done already!
