Default C1296 will not clear

Recently removed drivers side head and intake manifold. Now I have a hard C1296 which will reset but then immediately come back upon start. Other work performed at the same time, front calipers off, engine cradle and front suspension dropped about 2.5 inches (so that OP could be removed). PS pump and reservoir were off engine dut not disconnected. Engine was supported with a strap under the CS pulley and an engine hoist. Lots of PS fluid dripped on the ABS module.

Brakes seem to work fine but message Service Active Handling System is being announced.

Any idea what I broke in my haste to perform other repairs or even where to start???

Thanks in advance

FOUND THE PROBLEM. Loose wire at Brake Pressure Sensor. Must have disturbed it when the head was removed. No more trouble codes.
