Default Trans cooler mounting straps

I'm going to be installing the 11"x11"x1.5" B&M trans cooler. I'd like to install it in front of the air conditioning condenser. The problem is that this thing is pretty heavy (and that is without fluid). I don't know if I want to fasten it directly to the condenser provided that it is quite heavy. What would work great would be some metal (aluminum or otherwise) straps that would connect (squeeze) from the top and bottom of the air condenser, then I could bolt the cooler to that, that way I wouldn't need to run anything through the condenser. It would still be directly in front of the air condenser but I wouldn't have to run anything through it and risk damaging it.
Do they sell anything like this? Has anyone made anything like this?

I was thinking something similar. I would use 2 metal straps like what you have pictured. But rather than attach horizontally to the frame they will be vertical and attach to the condenser.

I currently have the same tranny cooler you have and I haven't had any problems with it attached directly to the condenser.

I mounted it with about 1" spacing from the condenser. Made the brackets out of 6ft piece of 12ga steel, like $10 in material.

That is exactly what I was thinking about! Thanks for the pics! I will also be running an a&a front mount so it's good to know there is room.
Did you basically use the bench vise and a hammer to form the metal?

Great looking workmanship BTW.

Thanks and yeah just fold it over and hammer down. It just takes a while to measure the bends. Then spray some paint to finish it off.

I copied the basic design of Chris, but did it with aluminum straps...real easy to cut and real easy to bend. I bought the aluminum at home depot for around $12.
