ambient temp digital readout on console
My C5 digital readout of ambient air and driver passenger temps, seems to be out or very dim. Rather than removing the control unit and looking for a bad connection ( no easy task) , could the circut be checked with a diagnostic computer? Could the ambient air sensor or the day/night control eye be faulty and cause this?

Search the forum for "Dim HVAC fix" and you will find the 6900+ posts. It is an easy, but delicate DIY fix. You have to remove the bezel, take the HVAC contol apart and re-solder the chips.
