Vaccum hose deteriorated under the battery had same too
Many posts on here including mine. Go under dash at passanger side and see if there is any vacuum at the purple connector coming thru the firewall.
Bet you have none. Then go and remove battery and tray and find the acid deteriorated hard lines and cut far enough off to remove the parts deteriorated with acid. I also had a bad check valve which is in the right front fender. Just remove about 3 screws holding the bottom of the fender on and you can get to the check valve without taking anything off. Wash the area under the battery tray with a gallon or two hot water and baking soda and rinse and dry. Paint any exposed metal with spray paint.
