I believe a dealership would charge around 15 hours labor to do a clutch swap.
My father and I did it on jackstands in his garage and it took probably 20-25 hours the first time with us taking our time. It isn't a job for the faint of heart, you REALLY have to tear the car apart to get at the clutch.

Thanks ! I thought it looked like a lot of work. What about special tools? I.E. leaf spring compressor etc.?
We did it without a leafspring compressor or any special tools. One thing that makes lining up the clutch/pressureplate a lot easier is a plastic spline. I think a normal small block chevy one will work.
