I'm getting ready to do a diff swap (3.42) on my 99' a4. I have searched and come up with some good instructions on the site. other than fluid is there anything else I should have on hand and replace if I should or need to? Gaskets, seals, bearings? Any tips on making things easier... Thanks
I found Cajun Dude's write-up to be helpful. Of particular note is the wear parts, in this case, the belleville washers... my right side was broken. Worth a look anyway.
Do the axle seals... they're not horribly expensive and they're known to leak.
