Instrument panel dark
The entire instrument panel is dark in my 2001 vette. I was trying to look through posts but I found only some and they were not exactly like mine. My instrument panel is dark all the time but everyhting else is working - except the passenger door lock which I read about.
Would someone know what to doto fix the IP without going to a dealer?

This was happening randomly to me, until it finally just stopped lighting up all together when I would turn the headlights on. I replaced the turn signal switch assembly that also controls the lights, etc. and haven't had a problem since.
They aren't cheap, so I don't want to be the cause of a mis-diagnosis. Just saying that is what fixed mine...
