Fan replacement - Dorman shrouded?

Fan replacement - Dorman shrouded?
Looks like my passenger side fan is dead. While searching RockAuto for my 2000 it showed a Dorman shrouded assembly. I imagine it would help at low speeds but do you think it would cause any issues at high speed?
Also found it odd that it's listed when I specified 2000 but the description says 2004. Do you think it should still work?

Sitting in traffic I watched the temp past 250F utill I started moving or turned the air off. Even with AC off it settled to 243F in traffic. Got home and sure enough it wasn't moving. I'll check the fuses and relays before ordering a motor. Probably the easiest thing to do for now. Thanks!

Both fans run in low above something like 180F if the AC is on. Otherwise I believe the fans running in low speed kick in at 226F and the running in high speed kicks in at 235F.

You posted the right or passenger side fan is not working. I would suspect the wiring to the fan or the motor itself. The right fan power for low speed and high speed go through seperate fuse and relays, meaning you'd need to have more than 1 failure for the passenger fan to be dead in both speeds. This is asssuming the drivers side fan works in high speed.

The same fan on mine went out as well last year. Got hot in traffic as well. Blew the fuse. Put in a new one and it blew that fuse as well. Decided to go Hi volume and bought the dewitts fan upgrade. Sounds like a vacuum cleaner when they come on 
but even in 115 degree heat and A/C on in traffic have not even seen above 210 (temp fans come on).

After checking fuses and relays I went to check the connector to the passenger side fan to discover the issue. The fan blades were no longer attached to the motor! Nut is missing. Not sure how that happens since they're reverse threaded. Looks like the motor rounded out the hole so I'll be ordering a new fan blade.
