problems after diff and TC swap
I replaced my A4 diff with a used 3.42 and installed a remanufactured 2500 stall last night. now the trans/converter is slipping. On the highway if I give anything more than half throttle, it slips very easily from 2500rpm on up. Fluid was topped off several times after letting it circulate. I am waiting for it to cool to check it again, at 122dg it is spilling out of the fill plug. Possibly too much fluid cause this? when we took it apart the wiring connectors on the drivers side of the trans into the black box were difficult to remove and install, just looking at it from below i cant see any bent pins in the connectors... when we got it back together the car wanted to die in gear as soon as I let off the brakes, did the computer relearn procedure and it seemed to correct itself. I put about 25 grandma style miles on it down the highway to get home after the relearn and haven't got any SES light which i expected with the gear ratio change.. after an 8 hr install I am stressing out

Well, If you followed the correct fill procedure and checked the fluid level WITH THE ENGINE RUNNING AT THE PROPER TEMPERATURE then I would say faulty install or parts.
