Odd fuel problem
On my first fillup, I put in BP 93, and shortly after the fuel gauge started working. I continued using BP 93 and then the gauge died again. I then tried some seafoam in the tank, filled up with BP 93 again and cleared the codes. The fuel gauge has worked since, except a few weeks ago I ran out of gas when the fuel gauge was at about 3/8 of a tank. It took me a while at first to troubleshoot it as no fuel! I took it to the station, put 5 gallons in it, drove it about 10 miles, then it only took about 7 gallons when I got it back to a BP station to fill it the rest of the way up. So the car went from out-of-gas to full in a little less than 12 gallons.
Obviously sounds like a problem with the fuel transfer system. Anyone have any tips for solving this issue once and for all?
Thanks!

I am still unclear as to whether I can simply remove and clean the RH jet pump or if I need to buy a new RH Sender/Jet Pump Assembly.
Also, how did he know that the left hand tank was drained of fuel? Is he just assuming that since the pump draws off the LH tank or was he able to inspect the fuel levels in each tank some way?
Thanks!
