Have a 2003 Corvette. Problem with the traction control. Every once in a while it activates and kicks it of cruise. Which would be normal if you tap the brakes, but it does it on its own. Dealer said it showed no bad codes. Left me on my own.
1948ply, please be very careful when driving the car until your issue is resolved. There have been isolated incidents of malfunctioning TCS/ABS etc. causing sudden brake applications resulting in unexpected swerving. Not likely it will happen to you but be aware of the possibility.
As an aside, I wish more people here on the Forum would post their names on the public profiles. I try whenever possible to address posters by name but it seems few have their names listed.
I am going to drive with the traction control off till I can get it fixed. Hopefully that will help. I wish it would work were you had it turned off till you needed it. I never drive in the winter or wet weather anyway
It will be the AH that could bite you. I had this very problem. SWPS sends incorrect data to the EBCM. EBCM thinks you are in a slide and applies various corner brakes. It abruptly yanked my car from the left lane on the freeway to the center lane.

... mine would apply the brakes to the front left wheel, jerking it into the left lane. Just make sure you have a good grip on the wheel in the event this should happen, and hope it isn't raining. It will scare the crap out of you the first time it does it.
