Default EBCM codes after ABS fixer repair

I had my EBCM repaired by ABS fixer because of ABS, Handling system and traction control system warning. Got it back and all was good until last week the warnings came back on. I drove the car to work with the light on. Started it up to go home and haven't had the light since. Has anyone experienced this temporary warning?

Check your codes. If you are getting C1287 and/or C1288 it's the swps (sterring wheel positioning senser). Just replaced mine yesterday and all is fine now.

I'll check them tomorrow, but again the problem has not returned.

Sensor is on steering column down by the firewall on the inside. Yellow and green disc shape. GM Partshouse has them for about $63.15 plus shipping. About a 3 hour job to replace with proper tools.

COIA, when you say inside, are you talking inside the car? and what tools are you talking about.
