You have to squeeze and pull, if they are very old your not saving them.

Just looking for the right part to squeeze so I dont break it.
Other thing is how hard should I be pulling. Should it just pop right off Id think or more effort?
Im carless at this point so dont wanna fubar it.

Order a new one, they are cheap. Also check the sensors themselves, the get rusty and funky. The oil plugs at the bottom of the wells can also leak, I replaced it all when I had the intake off (oil plugs, sensors and the connector) but I had one sensor throwing codes before I started.

You'll see a closeup of the connector.

Squeeze the longer sides toward each other and pull upward slightly. It will just pop off. You can use some long needle-nose pliers as well if you can't get your fingers down the in valley plate.

Grabbing the long ends like you said, further down with needle nose did the trick. Front one was a tad stubborn the rear came right off.
Course the rear was completely rotten. Front one looked like new
Thanks!!
now to finish porting the TB (intake is done) and throw it all back together.
Using the harness over contacts look good. Clean it and hold my breath.
