It's very common. Do a search and you'll get tired of reading before you reach the end of the answers.
I've used Techron a couple times a year for three years and my problem hasn't returned. I catch in on sale as Advance two for one. Add one every few months.
If, when, I pull the pump I'll fix it. Until then, it's Techron.

If you pull your codes, you'll find one in there for this too. Techron is the normal fix but also try to clear the code with the understanding that it usually doesn't clear for this. but shutting down the car and restarting, does fix it till the next time. There is a firmware update possibly available also.
