Service Steering lock Colum
I was working on putting in HIDs in my vette and when I went to move my car the steering colum is locked and says service steering colum. Anyone have thhis problem and a reccomendation. I cant drive the the car because the steering colum is locked.

Well as a 6+ year member and 700+ posts, I am very surprised you haven't read about this topic before. Read the sticky at the top of the forum.
K harness, CLB, low battery and on and on.

It depends, if you have a battery that is going dead or has lost its charge yes it will most likely work but I would get a clb so that this doesnt happen again. If that doesnt work some have had luck with shaking the wheel violently from side to side to get the column to unlock.

I know it's long, but read it. Don't just throw parts at your car; replacing the battery might not do it. And +1 on the CLB.
