If you have to turn the HVAC module a certain way to get your AC to function you obviously have a wiring issue….is this module auto or manual ??…I’d remove the connectors and make sure you have no loose or bent pins…do you know how to do a terminal tension also called a pin drag test ??…do you mean PCM and not BCM ??

I have a auto one, but I just replace the back connector to connect into the module in that problem is gone now everything shows up if I turn a certain way nothing short there’s nothing shorting out anymore. It reads the correct temp outside but still no AC button coming on still and I was taking about the BCM
All I have for you is the module connector view and pin location…I’d check anything at the module that says ground, battery, ignition 3 voltage and serial data with a 12 volt test light while you turn your module around to recreate your issue…good luck !!…you don’t check the serial data wire with a test light though !!
