Can somone tell me what this code means ?
I have a list of code but this one and others dont appear on my list.
I'm experementhing service ride control and shock malfunction.
Yes I replaced my shocks and i put in the appropriate resistors, but in the rain I would get the 80mph message. I now get this message constently.
Thanks
Thanks for your replies.
Yes I'm aware that I can delete this whit a Teck 2 but I cant even get a dealer to do this for me, and I have the procedures to do this.
As for the resistors .....long story done twice eliminated one problem ..now can you tell me were are/is this solenoid so that I can change it or isolate it etc,
Also were can I get a complete list of codes, the one I have came from this forum very helpfull but incomplete.
Again many thanks. Lucien
The F45 package uses solenoids within the shocks to control the rate of oil flow within the shock. The solenoid simulator you made replaces the shock's solenoid, but must not be simulating adequately. 10 watt 10 ohm resistors I believe. You might swap the front resistors and see if the problem moves (and code changes), in which case you may have a short or open, or the resistor failed. A voltmeter with ohms can easily verify short/open/resistance, but not wattage.

Simulate rain with a squirt bottle.

Thanks, your solenoid info is very helpfull I wont have to look for that.
I suspected a short or open circuit as you stated, as I had just replaced all resesistors whith the proper 10 watts 10 ohm, and the message reacured same front side circuit and rain or a good bump in the road activated the 80 mph message.
Great now I'll look for that short.
Thanks again for all your replies.
