Just did a driver and passenger insulation installation. Pulled the console and radio bezel to insulate everything I could. Used the FrostKing method I read about on the forum. It went great until...
When I installed the driver seat, everything was working fine (seats moved, dash lit up etc). Once I put the key in the ignition to turn the car around, there was a clicking inside of the console under the center armrest. Then tried turning the key and just got a dreaded clicking noise like the starter was bad. Then when I take the key out of the ignition, the car chimes like I left the lights on. Have to turn the key back to On to get the chime to stop. pulled the negative off of the battery to quiet things down.
I just replaced the starter 2 months ago and up to that point everything was working fine. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
I did start it this morning to turn it around and it started fine. Once I put everything back together, that's when the trouble started. I'll let you know if I can get it jump started.
Thanks again!
The jump-start worked. Thanks 8VETTE7.
Car is running strange. Wants to stall. But at least running for now.
Also, checked all fuses (all ok) but blower for AC not coming on. Any thoughts on this?!?
Thanks again!
