Ported Throttle Body Problems
Has anyone experienced a PC1514 code when they switched to a ported throttle body? I have this problem now. It believe it is due to the increased air flow when the flap is in the idle position. I adjusted the set screw to bring it to a full closed position. This worked to eliminate the error code, however the car will not idle at all. I have not raised the PCM idle yet. Once I do this will it help? I can't wait until LS1 Edit for the 2001s start to ship!

I've had my WCC ported TB on for two weeks now and no codes at all. I also had the computer redone so I dont know if that would make a difference.

I have never gotten any codes with my ported tb and stock programming.
Did you exchange your original tb for this one or is it your original? Maybe the throttle position sensor was reinstalled incorrectly. I'd contact the place that you got it from.

Do you have a hole drilled in the blade? When I installed a ported tb on my '99 coupe, the hole drilled in the tb for the cam caused me to throw a code. I sealed the hole with some JB weld and had no problems.
