HELP trans trouble
trans won"t go in to 1st,3rd,5th or reverse...01 c5z 2,4 and 6 work great.does not go in any foward gears even with engine off,let half way up on clutch and u can feel grinding like trying to go in,push clutch to floor and its like hitting a rock...

The easiest thing to try is to always do a shifter alignment. If it still doesn't work after that, you need to pull the tranny and have it repaired which will involve lots of $

thanks for help,few trans places I spoke to sad that it is probly in shifter mec in trans.said if I can make it grind but not go in gear something in trans.I will try shifter tonite to make sure.

removed consol and found shifter front stop lock nut was gone and let screw thread in and hit shifter...so glad just got procharger in friday and saturday night this happened,thought I wasn't going to get methol and cam...thanks for the help
