Default Looking for Dyno/Tune in Mi

New to the site Looking for a good tuner in Michigan just finishing up with some major engine mods and am thinking I am going to need an engine tune to go with the engine work. Turned my 2001 ZO6 LS6 into a 383 stroker. Help would be greatly appreciated.

Dr.Phil, is IMHO the best tuner you can get anywhere. He is located on 26 mile and Romeo Plk. Send me a PM and I will give you his phone number.

Livernois Eng in Dearborn Hgts are good but not cheap.
Quoted me $600 to dyno tune my 70 with a new 383. Passed.

Agreed. Phil is one of the few people I feel comfortable with working on my vette. He is really knowledgeable about Corvettes and does great work.

They are getting pretty rare out here for us in Motown...Livernois is expensive and leans more toward being a Mustang shop IMHO. I had great luck with Vector Motorsports in Clinton Township just across the street from Katech Engineering; but they apparently have changed ownership and Greg is no longer there. Good luck with the other guys mentioned, they never post on the forum, not sure if they are still in the area. We need an England Green or Steve Doten here!

Johnny9, if you're in the area, I'd love to show you around the shop and discuss tuning options.

We specialize in late model Ford, GM, and Chrysler and these days do more GM work than anything.

Another option is Motor City Speed. The tuner there has been doing it a long time and used to tune all of Wheel to Wheel's cars. They are in the Commerce area

I had Dr Phil tune mine. His screen name on here is RoadRebel. Shoot him a pm. A dyno tune will cost a little more than a wideband street tune.

I'm trying to PM Dr Phil and having no luck under roadrebel or road rebel, does anyone have a contact they could PM me?

As for alternatives if you aren't in a hurry Thompson Motorsports can tune and are pretty good I believe. They build some awesome LS9 supercharger/LS7 block builds...
