Brake Fluid Reservoir Cracking
Brake fluid reservoir chipping and cracking away on top. Chevy place said no can replace just reservoir. Must replace master cylinder, too. (At mega bucks dealer wants….) Is that true??? Can I get just a reservoir? Did a quick search and did not find anything. I’m a newby and just bought the car a couple of weeks ago so I don’t know anything. Car is 2001 coupe. Was last owners daily driver. Help please. Thanks.

You CAN change just the reservoir without changing the master cylinder...I don't know if you can buy them separately from the dealer though.
When mine cracked, I bought one here off the forum in the FS section. Try Gene @ gmpartshouse for new.
