Column Lock with Central Locking also disabled- HELP!!!

Hey guys, first post here on the forum, have been lurking for a while and now need a little advice.

I have read through the Column Lock sticky, but I also have the symptom of the central locking also being disabled, as in the doors will not lock or unlock by using the fob. Anybody have a similar experience? I just replaced the battery as per the sticky, and have the same issues. Anything I can try before getting my baby towed to the dealer?

If you have not retrained the fobs I would start there. I have just gone through column lock problem too, which came down to a bad cell in the battery. Don't rule out the battery in the fob.
