Thinking about getting HID's

I have depot headlights and they are bright with stock bulbs, but I've heard using HID's on depot headlights will prevent the micro fracturing in the head light housing.

So my question is.. will this HID kit be compatible with the Depot Headlights?

sorry if this a noob question. new to corvettes.

if you're using the projector housings, just go ahead & get a 55W kit. it'll be better.
DDM tuning has a solid reputation selling HID kits. i ain't never heard of those eBay ones
