Today our corvette club went on a road trip ! After we ate and started back ALL instrument panel gauges would not work! I turned the engine off and restarted the car but gauges would not work. We drove several miles and stopped at a produce stand and after re-starting the engine, all gauges worked again! It was very hot today which I thought might have an effect but this malfunction did not happen to any other vette. This vette is a 2003. Any ideas?
This happened to me several times last year. I removed the dash to see if all wires were plugs properly and everythings looked fine. I replaced the alternator regulator and did not fix the issue. I did Bill Curley's ignition switch repair and nothing either.
This spring I looked at the acordeon wires in the driver's door and did not notice anything wrong. Though the gauges never went down since. I start to believe there was something wrong going on in those wires...
