Seat Swap
I recently bought used 2001 Corvette seats to replace my original seats in my 1997 because of broken parts in the seat track. I pulled out the old seats and installed the 2001 seats and immediately got every code known and the car would not start. I swapped the newer seat out and replaced it with my old seat - Everything works as it should. Comparing the two seats shows a difference between them. My 97 has a power seat module/box under the seating area and the 01 doesn't. Also, the 97 has a wire to connect to the seat belt connector while the 01 doesn't. Is there a way that I can make the 01 power seat work in my 97?
