Default Next mod/upgrade?

Hey everyone,

Well I cammed my FRC about a month ago now and am just intrested to get some opinions on what I should upgrade next before getting a set of better heads. Like any bolt-ons I'm missing or anything I should beef up before putting on a set of good flowing heads. Car made 410RWHP on the dyno on stock LS1 intake and heads. Current mods are as follows...

BlackWing CAI
LS2 TB and Intake manifold
Custom Spec Comp Cam
Lowered on stock bolts with Bilstein shocks
C5 Z06 clutch and flywheel
Short throw shifter
Longtube headers with catted x-pipe and corsa cat-bak

Kinda worried about the clutch lasting at this power level and also worried about the master as I do get the "hard to go into gear problem" sometimes when stopped and at high RPMs.

Also, the car is still running stock LS1 oil pump and chain. The pressure has been fine so I haven't upgraded it yet but should I? Like I said any opinions would be great! Thanks!

Same questions I'm facing. Have gone as far as the stock drivetrain allows pushing close to the limit of 500hp. So anymore I try to put on will certainly overstress it.

My suggestion is (and to me) is beef up everything else past the flywheel when putting out more than 500 + HP.

Looks like you already know what to do next, however, I suggest you ditch that LS2 manifold when you upgrade your heads. It's supposed to actually be more restrictive than a LS6/ '01-up manifold. I know you have a LS6 clutch, which is probably pretty new, but if you plan on more power, it'll be a possible problem area.

Thanks guys. And I just put the LS2 manifold on because it didn't cost me anything and flowed better than the LS1. I read somewhere that porting it would actually make it flow pretty well is this true? And should I be good with the LS6 clutch up to 500? Also, do I really NEED to upgrade the oil pump and chain? I will when I do heads obv. but as of right now my pressure is fine. Also I already have a 160 thermo and all that. Just want a couple more horses for the local car meets on the weekends. Really wish I could find a good set of 243 heads for cheap...

Still on 28lb injectors also...they're at about 98% so I know I'll need to scale those up too before I do anything else or should I go ahead and have them scaled now? And will the stock fuel system support around 500rwhp?
