APP sensor replacement question
Can the APP sensor be replaced without replacing the entire pedal assembly? Since the sensor is mounted to the pedal using security Torx screws, I'm thinking it's not meant to be replaced. I've searched online for the sensor and spoke to the dealer but it seems the sensor itself is not a replaceable part. I've read the numerous and very helpful posts on the P1125 code/limp mode. I've cleaned the grounds I can locate and visually checked wiring and cleaned/reseated connectors at the APP sensor and TAC. I may invest in a scan tool to read the voltages since it looks like I may be needing it in the future but if I can get a sensor (instead of a $390 pedal assembly) I don't mind spending a little money throwing a part at it. I haven't seen anything in the posts about someone replacing only the sensor.
