I recently pulled my engine outta my 99 C5 to do a Heads and Cam upgrade. However after everything was put back together my ABS and TRAC Light are on now. I have one plug coming out on the passenger side by the starter that looks like it might reach for the right front abs sensor but not long enough. I can not find a plug for the left front abs sensor. Someone told me I am missing a Harness that runs along the front of the engine cradle to connect the ABS sensors together? Need help I cant find wiring connector diagrams anywhere online!

If you did your work WITHOUT a manual, Maybe it is time to get one. You can get the CD cheap or as a painfull download and install. I use mine all the time.
I thought this forum was a site to help people not bash people. Figures their has to be some negativity everywhere no matter what. Thanks for showing me how you have nothing better to do then to bash people instead of help people.

Buying the Service Manual is the 1st thing I do after buying any car. Motorcycles too. I agree with the above posters. "Teach a Man to Fish" and all that!
BKC2006,
I can't help but agree with the others, too. The service manual is invaluable for working on any car...especially a C5. You can also purchase a subscription to websites such as AllData that have tons of useful information without the bulk of the GM service manual. Either way, having manufacturer's technical info and instructions is imperative for servicing a Corvette.
As for feeling like you are getting bashed: you are now bashing the rest of the forum, and a lot of the guys on here are incredibly knowledgeable... I would suggest that instead of getting "cranky" about the replies, you take some time and check over your engine and see what you missed. Give the forum something to work with...ask your questions after some effort on your part. (for ex, if you have strange electrical issues, pull the codes and post along with your question)
You can't reasonably expect the forum to solve the problem without some effort on your part. However, if you get stumped on something, you can find help here. I suppose the reasonable expectation is that you would have a service manual...

Well here is the very first hit I got from google. It is a FleaBay deal and I have no idea if it is legit or what.
Easy really. We might sometimes be a little bashing to certain posts. But REALLY read your own post, pretty weak at best. It was begging for a Whacking
I was not getting cranky nor bashing anyone.I know the forum has knowledgeable guys thats why I asked for help. I was simply asking if I was missing this harness or not. Someone was kind enough to PM me with everything I needed to know and its turns out I was missing it. Im 24 years old this is the first engine removal and install Ive ever done Its ok to make mistakes!

ftp://www.c5help.com/gm_service_98-05.iso GM Service manual on DVD applies to all GM vehicles from 1998 to 2005.
This a single ISO burn to DVD or mount to virtual drive.
Run setup.exe from DVD root to install application. Then run \SI_DATA\setup.exe to install the Database. Then run \SI_UPDATE\siupdate.exe to update the database. Some firewall programs will need an exception for the main program before it will allow access to run the application, C:\Program Files\GM SPO\ESI\TRANSBASE\TBKERN32.EXE The download a single ISO file.
I like the single .iso file. The one that was posted in the past was 20 or more downloads. Watch out for Java updates you might have done automatically. The newer java script can cause issues with the install. It does work with the newer versions, but it hoses your install.
