I am ready for my next level of upgrades here and am wondering if anyone has gone with these gears? Want to go with a 4000+ converter with these bad boys and might go ahead and do the level 4 tranny from FLP all in one shot...Think I could save a few $$$ that way...Any experiences..Thoughts...

I went with the 3.73..!
The rest is history................
I have had my 390s and Pro torque 2400 in for about a month now. WCC did a top notch job installing them and doing the reprogram. I love the performance but have no traction now. I just got my rear BFG G force tires. 295X35X18 very hard to find. I will have my front tires and new Z06 rims next week. I also have a 150 NX kit on the car. The gears made a more noticeable jump on the nitrous than the 315s I had. I raced a Z06 on the way to Vegas last week and easily took him without the nitrous. I slowed back down to 95 and he came back up on me at around 140. I had to hit the bottle just to prove my point. Went by him at 168. No problem with the revs being high. Lost about 3 MPG on the freeway. Was getting 23.6 and now 20.9.
Thanks for the info gentlemen!! I had the 3.73's in my 97 TA auto and loved those babies..Its amazing how much faster of a rev you get isn't it :yesnod:
I will keep all posted when the install goes through...Still deciding if I am going to go with the ARE stage II H/C first and blow the trans, or do the reverse as I posted..Loosing the gas mileage will be painful on longer trips :U

One factor to consider is backlog. With my luck, my tranny would let go when FLP has a big backlog (like now.) As much as it would be nice to have everything (or at least something ;)) Right Now, it's easier to avoid unplanned downtime by scheduling the trans work first.
